Weber 45 DCOE 152G Carburettor

With a Grand Prix Racing heritage, the venerable DCOE is Weber's premier Carburetor, and still the standard by which all other carburetors are measured. It is unsurpassed for full-race use, yet its infinite tune ability by way of interchangeable calibrated parts allows it to be tailored to suit any engine and application. Hardly enough can be said about the DCOE. Its features include: ball bearing throttle shafts, piston type accelerators pump circuits, a wide variety of throttle bore sizes.. and, of course, the excellence that is Weber.

The 45 DCOE 152G Weber carburettor we supply has four progression holes, which has great advantages over the commonly supplied 152 Carburettor which only has three progression holes. We have found, along with many reputable Dyno operators, that the major benefit is a much smoother transition from the idle to main circuit. This is the most difficult part to get right when tuning Weber carburettors. An incorrect progression stage will typically display as a "flat" spot on acceleration, and can be time consuming to rectify, or even get close.

The 152G was initially developed for multi-valve/cam engines, although we have found them to be very beneficial in engines such as the Holden 202, Ford 2L Pinto, Datsun 1600 and Hemi 265.

This is why we only supply the 45 DCOE 152 G Weber carburettor.

Of course if you have a preference for the three progression hole 152, we can order it in for you.

JETTING

Something else to keep in mind is that when you purchase a DCOE Weber from Weber Performance, we can rejet the carburettor for you. This covers all calibrated parts from Chokes to idle jets. If you have a jetting spec you know works, we can supply the carburettor exactly as you want. We can also help steer you in the right direction of what you may need.

LOCAL SUPPORT

.... and finally, when you purchase from Weber Performance, you are dealing with a local Australian business that can provide advice, information, and support should you need it. We are only a phone call away.
